Description:

The door control unit TS 971 by GfA Elektromaten is an automatic control panel for use with GfA Elektromaten drives with digital (DES) or mechanical (NES) limit switch system. The TS 971 control panel comes with an integrated radio receiver for 434 MHz radio products from different manufacturers. In addition the TS 971 has an integrated receiver, that can be used for the wireless transmission of the door safety edge in combination with the optional WSD module.

• Integrated push button for UP-STOP-CLOSE commands
• Integrated radio receiver for 434 MHz wireless products
• Parameter setting via selector switch with digital display
• Two independent, programmable relay contacts, e.g. for red-green traffic-lights
• Operating modes: hold-to-run mode or self-hold/ automatic mode
• Automatic detection of safety edge type (Optical edge FRABA VITECTOR, resistive edge 8k2 or NC-contact type 1k2 with testing)
• Automatic timer-to-close
• Adjustable intermediate open position, e.g. half open, venting position
• Automatic ground adjustment (only DES) to compensate for rope-stretch or subsequent change in ground height

Due to the pre-assembled, pluggable motor cable, the TS 971 can easily be connected to the drive. Faulty wiring is hereby avoided, thus minimizing installation errors and time. The connection cable can be wired into the control panel housing from either top or bottom. In addition to the motor cable, the TS 971 can work with a multitude of additional inputs, e.g. rope-switches, photo eyes, sensing edges and many more.

The TS 971 by GfA Elektromaten comes with the function "radio/ wireless" already integrated, the control panel has an integrated receiver for transmitters (remotes) from different manufacturers using a frequency of 434 MHz. An additional radio receiver is not needed. In addition the wireless sensing edge transmission system WSD is already integrated on the control panel side. The WSD system is a wireless transmission system for sensing edges and allows monitoring and transmission of the most common sensing edge types, as well as pedestrian door and rope tension switches. The use of a coil cord is no longer needed. Of course the TS971 also allows for connection with a coil cord.

The TS971 has comfort functions and allows installation in more demanding applications. For standard-applications GfA Elektromaten offers the panel type TS970.
